Knowing new is a set of tools that can assist in teaching the language course of new immigrant students in elementary schools in increasing interest and cultural understanding.
Children who take this course can learn more about their culture while learning the language and sharing it with family and friends.
Origin
With the increase in the number of new residents and the declining birth rate, the proportion of new immigrants’ children in primary and secondary schools is increasing year by year.
Therefore, in the 108-year syllabus, the Ministry of Education officially included the language of new residents as one of the language courses in primary and secondary schools.
Since the current textbooks only focus on language education, we want to bring more cultural and diverse experiences to students.
Goal
The project is to arouse the society's interest in the language courses for new residents' children, so that they can further understand the cultures of new residents.
